God ”bage”-lyst!

By now I have made these awesome substitutes for the traditional, Christmas oatmeal marbles a couple of times, and I will definitely continue to make them! They are so delicious! The primary ingredient is dates, which replaces both sucker and butter and therefore makes them much healthier. You must not hesitate making these just because you don’t like dates, because I promise you that these tastes even better than the originals – and I can’t stand dates normally. And they only contain app. 35 kcal per marble (where the originals contain app. 140 kcal per marble).
Do yourself the favor and make them!
Ingredients
- 250g dates
- ½ dl water
- 30g almonds
- 30g unsweetened cacao
- 30g coconut flour
- 50g oatmeal
Instructions
Remove the cores from the dates and blend them with water, almonds and coconut flour. Pour oatmeal and cacao into the mixture and stir it together. Then put it in the fridge for and hour or so.
Take the mixture out of the fridge and make small marbles. Roll the marbles in some coconut flour and ¡voila! now you should have app. 40 heavenly marbles, that you can eat with a clean conscience.
Psst you can also try rolling the marbles in other things – it’s only your imagination that limits you. I tried for example chopped up almonds and chopped dark chocolate, which I also found very delicious. Maybe you can try some licorice powder or dried raspberry. You can also try to add a little coffee powder or cinnamon to the mixture to give the marbles and extra kick.
Happy cooking!
